Middletown Township is located in Monmouth County in central New Jersey and is bordered by the Navesink River and Sandy Hook Bay. The community boasts a population of approximately 70,000 residents who enjoy the rural feel and freedom of the area, easy access to "The Jersey Shore" and an excellent quality of life.

Although Middletown NJ is only just over an hour south of New York City, the community is surrounded by beautiful wooded areas, pristine lakes and streams. One of the 13 original colonies, New Jersey is an historical treasure-trove and Middletown Township is no exception. There are Revolutionary War battlegrounds to explore, including the site of the Middletown Shrewsbury battle of 1779, and early American architecture to view.

The schools in Middletown are committed to their students. There are 17 public schools: two four-year high schools, three middle schools and 12 K-5 elementary schools. Most of the schools have class sizes smaller than the state average. To the south and east of Middletown is "The Jersey Shore," which promises sunbathing, shell hunting and boasts some of the best Stripe Bass fishing on the eastern seaboard. A few moments south you'll find the Borough of Red Bank, home to the Count Basie Theatre, the finest of cuisine, all of the major brokerage firms, and a downtown rivaled only by Manhattan's.
